At Good Shepherd Lutheran Church our Greeters also are the Gift Bearers for the service. Two people assume this role per service.

As a Greeter you arrive at least 20 minutes prior to service time to stand in the Welcome Center and welcome each person as they enter. If someone is visiting, please introduce yourself and help direct them toward the sanctuary answering any questions as needed.

The same two people who are Greeters are also the Gift Bearers during the service. As a Gift Bearer you pick up one of the Sacraments (bread & wine) from the back of the center aisle and bring it to the altar at the usher’s direction.
